Tamar Estine Herbert (née Braxton) is an American television personality, singer, songwriter, and actress.
She started out with The Braxtons with their first album being released in 1996, but it was a commercial failure. In 1999, she signed with Interscope Geffen A&M distributed label DreamWorks Records and released her self-tited debut album in early 2000 which was also a commercial failure.
Twelve years after releasing her debut studio album, she finally released a single "Love And War" in December 2012 which became a U.S. radio and digital hit. She finally released her second studio album Love And War in September 2013 by Epic Records. That same year, she released her third studio album Winter Lovestand and later on released Calling All Lovers (2015) and Bluebird Of Happiness (2017).
Braxton currently stars on Braxton Family Values on WE tv.
