#1's is the first compilation album by American recording artist Mariah Carey. The record was released in November 1998 by Columbia Records and was one of the very first albums to be released on Super Audio CD (SACD) format that was founded by Sony and Phillips. Carey's #1's compilation contains a total of thirteen number-one U.S. hits from 1990 to 1998 and five additional newly recorded songs (the fifth track "Do You Know Where You're Going To" was a international bonus track).

Carey has expressed a great dislike for this compilation, as she feels that it only contained her big hits and none of her favorite songs. Criticism towards the album was almost similar, because the album mostly contained Carey's American number one hits. Despite the backlash, the album became a success and charted very high in major commerical markets such as the United States, Japan, and Europe.

The album spawned singles such as "Sweetheart" with Jermaine Dupri, from the soundtrack of DreamWorks' The Prince of Egypt (1998) spawned "When You Believe" with Whitney Houston (released by DreamWorks Records), and the final single "I Still Believe" (Brenda K. Starr cover). A non-commercial single, "Do You Know Where You're Going To (Theme from Mahogany)" (Diana Ross cover) received a limited release in 1999. To date, #1's has sold a total of over 15 million copies worldwide.
